Crylipolysis is a non invasive and widely tested technique that subjects fatty tissue to intensive, controlled cooling. This destroys some of the fatty cells, which are then eliminated via the normal metabolic processes. The results? a visible thinng of the fatty layer.
In response to the profound cold generated during cryo fat-freezing, several natural biological reactions occur. The nerves near the skin’s surface contract and recede, resulting in a numbing effect that effectively eliminates any discomfort during the brief freezing of the skin.
The body initiates a localized inflammatory response to the cold applied to fat cells, a phenomenon known as “Panniculitis.” It’s important to note that fat cells rupture at a higher temperature than skin and healthy cells. As a result, when fat cells rupture, their by-products are naturally processed and removed by the lymphatic system. These inherent and non-invasive biological reactions lead to a reduction in the density and thickness of fat layers.

Yes! Cryo-Shape is a safe, non-invasive technique with no downtime, meaning you can go straight back to work and continue to exercise. As opposed to invasive procedures such as liposuction which have downtimes of up to six weeks. Extensive testing has shown that the cooling process only damages the fat cells and tissues such as the skin and muscle remain unaffected.
Your chosen treatment area is sucked into a ‘cup’ using vacuum pressure. The walls of the cryo handset have cold plates which maintain contact with the skin for up to 60 minutes, at a temperature of -4 to -7 degrees centigrade. Without affecting other areas the fat cells will then begin to freeze and subsequently die. Results will show after one treatment (expect to see around a 20% reduction of fat cells after one treatment) however, a course of multiple treatments may be required for optimal results.
Results are not immediate and as the body takes time to eliminate the fatty cells it can take up to 12 weeks to see the full effect of the procedure. You can receive 30% off all courses if booked during our launch week.
You can expect to feel a tingling sensation for around the first 10 minutes of the treatment, however your body will then adjust to the temperature and the treatment area will begin to feel numb and painless.
Cryo-Shape is not suitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with auto-immune disorders or cold sensitivity are not suitable for treatment.
It is also not suitable for those that suffer from keloid scarring, impaired sensation, impaired circulation, superficial nerves, open wounds, skin cancer, hypersensitivity to cold and cardiac disease.
Whilst fat cells won’t come back (once fat cells are removed your body does not produce more) any remaining fat cells can still expand causing you to gain weight if you do not maintain a healthy lifestyle.
You can expect to feel slight altered sensation of your treatment area alongside aching, spasms and tenderness. The skin will also be pink or red immediately after treatment. There are no long term side effects reported and if you have any issues post treatment you can contact us directly.
A healthy lifestyle must be incorporated alongside your procedure. Exercise is encouraged to see and maintain results. We also recommend not consuming any large meals immediately before or after your procedure and recommend avoiding alcohol and caffeine on the day of your treatment.
